here is jack,
my dear brother who was avoiding my camera.
he was at paragon atrium folding balloon scrulptures for charity.

the sunday crowd in town hated me.
everyone was knocking onto me.

anyway,
i almost cleared my christmas shopping list.
2 more to go,
and i am officially DONE.

i believe christmas 2009 will be a great one,
especially with him.

felin and i were helping her sister for her blogshop.
my virgin experience of eyeliner,
and felin made me laughed out loud with her instructions while helping me to draw my eyes.
it is just me being bunny again.

cousin's wedding

'cause of a drunk woman,
two of my closest ones had a misunderstanding. my bad.

the kids are FINALLY done with their examination!
well i kinda expected the results, so theres nothing much i could do too.
at least the secondary two kids did above expectation for literature which i am pretty satisfied :)

wondering how my ex geography classes,
and english classes fare for their papers?

on a lighter note,
i decided not to teach next year.
though part of me wished to stay badly, however 'cause of certain factor like $$,
i gotta leave for a better job.
gonna miss EVERY SINGLE ONE of them (be it the kids, teachers, canteen vendors or my rugby girls) :)

stephanie came by singapore on a work assignment last weekend,
and stayed over at my place.
the feeling was awkward yet familiar in the first place ...

however those gossip talks did manage to get us back to how we used to be in ocbc days.

i am supposed to be vetting literature paper NOW (as the dateline is tomorrow morning!!), but here i am blogging.
alright, lets get this done FAST.

last week was a happy week, 'cause i finally had my well-deserved break.
i met up with ALL my girlfriends & of course, not forgetting the scary christian (who might be flying back to germany end of this month);
and will be seeing the rest of the girls at serene's birthday party this coming saturday :)

though there were still stacks of assignment to be marked during the holiday, but well who cares?! :)
2 more weeks to the kids' final year examination, and i am feeling the rush to prepare them.
i foresee sleepless nights!!! :(

i finally met up with shuoke for her BELATED birthday treat.
LIKE FINALLY! minutes before meeting her, i was still in the midst of preparing my present for her.

after my secondary school days,

time had been running so fast.

i felt as if i am gasping for air,

whenever time pressured me in between work and school.

well, some of us were lucky to move on phase after phase.

i would say i missed my opportunity,

and did not perform well each time when i was given a chance to.

too late to regret and whined like some bimbo.

i arent as lucky as my sister & brother who have the brains,
i arent as determined as my siblings whom all know what they want.
i am clueless,

and i hate this feeling.

this feeling which slowly eats me up whenever i have to make my own decisions.

at times,

i feel as if i am in debt my whole life.
thats when responsibility weigh tonnes like RESPONSIBILITY.

on a lighter note,

kids are childish.

more of a random thought which i wish to express.

pardon that ugly fringe and tired eyes of mine,
as i just finished setting all the examination papers.

it had been two weeks since i started teaching ...
SO MUCH TO SAYY, BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO START.

some interesting happenings:

first week, i was late for three days (though i wakes up at 5am daily!)
second week, i was early everyday! (reaching school at 6.40am without fail.)
"MIA" for half an hour for a class (as i read the timetable wrongly), and caused my students looking all over the school for me
(humanities & english) department meetings
rugby teacher in charge, going to start training tomorrow
co-form teacher of a class
set the papers for class test one, and CA2. pending: class tests & SA2
stress ate me up on my first week
wore jeans, sleevless dresses, and short dresses (not more than 2 fingers above kneeee) were ALL not allowed in school
had more than 2 packets of vitasoy daily
"tweety bird" is one of my nicknames now, 'cause of my voice
committee meetings (fundraising, youth leadership etc)
started shouting and screaming
was one of the english oral examiners (it was scary to grade the kids!)
emphasis on self-discipline to all classes, reminding them that i hate to shout!
questions like "whats your number", "did you rebond my hair", "do you have blog/facebook/twitter" etc were asked daily
no comments on the kids - name any kind of kids, i havee them all (in my classes)
shocked the teachers with my huge appetite on those days when i was VERY HUNGRY
lesson plans are to be planned and handed up on each monday (but i passed it up only on the last day of the week)
had been google-ing, youtube-ing, library visits, popular visits to spice up lessons
hokkien vulgarities spoken in english (by the students)
and the list goes on

i was halfway through marking the assignments i brought back,
when my dearest red pen ran out of ink.
so now, i am looking for another red pen in the house!!

hopefully, i could finish everything by tonight.
as i have an interview early in the morning tomorrow,
which means i would not be able to go school EARLY to mark the other PILES of books / assignments :(

on a lighter note,
i am struggling on how to write "water" in chinese THE RIGHT WAY.
for example, are the strokes on the left supposed to be "glued" onto the middle stroke or is there supposed to be a gap in between both?
argh.
i do not understand what i am trying to say, do you?

i had forgotten what i wanted to blog initially.
alright, bye.

this is my second week as a relief teacher.

i had problems getting to sleep since day one,
as i was tramatised by the kids' doings in class.

these days,
every time i closed my eyes,
i had kids instead of sheeps running around my mind.
they are now officially - my nightmare.

on a lighter note, they are so adorable.
IF ONLY they know how to behave themselves and show me the basic ~~human~~ respect.

the night was crazy and fun 'cause of every single one of you.
we were playing games, and of couse the same old rule applies - loser drink!
half way through the game, we were pasting stickers on the losers as well.

francis, the bartender was nice enough to offer to help us mix drinks.
however, as the night passed ... when some of the girls were drunk.
his name was heard all over the place, the girls were cursing and swearing with his name.
for one reason - his drinks were DEADLY.
haha, it was quite funny when the same scene (with the few girls kept repeating the same lines)
was re - playing from the toilet - back to the room - walking down the stairs - even bidding goodbye.
they were shouting "francis, i hate you!", "francis, i want to complain you!", "francis, you are blacklisted" and etc.

alcohol does help in keeping the atmosphere high, and warm.

however, it seems like the girls who were the only ones going crazy.
i took a SHORT break, halfway through the game to write on the scrapbook.
i was pretty much enjoying the break, as i seriously suck-ed in games.
so it was an excuse to escape from more drinks!

oh my god, i seriously do not know how to pen the night down with words.
well, but i guess all of us pretty much enjoyed ourselves.
today, i woke up and refresh-ed myself with loads of sugar.
afterwhich, i felt as if i could do stunts like cartwheel or spin.

out of the hundreds of pictures,
i chosed these - the unglam and silly us.
on a lighter note, i lost the video with the girls drunk.
the conversation was dead funny!

yes, she cut her hair AGAIN.

at four-thirty pm,
i had my first meal - raisin bread + cheese.
half an hour later,
i finished up the left-over chips i had last night;
and a new packet of chips.
two hours later,
i had my dinner.

after another two hours,
i was tempted by maggie mee.
one hour after supper,
she bought me bunny cookie.

supper is bad,
but who cares.
